There are many great colleges in Canada, and narrowing down your options can be daunting. There are a number of factors to take into consideration. While no rules exist for choosing a college in Canada but when we choose, we look into some important factors for our students to consider which include:

  • Primary language of the College: The most common languages spoken in Canada are English and French. Some schools use one or both as their main language. We make sure that that students are be able to study and communicate in the necessary one.
  • Type of College: Are students interested in and at the right point in their education to study at a college, vocational school or institute?
  • Type of degree: Are they planning on pursuing a certificate, Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Post Diploma ?
  • Size of College: Are students interested in a large campus or small ? Big lectures or small seminars ? Both have their own pros and cons, so it’s important to decide which our students are most comfortable with.
  • Opportunities for work experience & PR: Is there a cooperative (“co-op”) program, or something similar? Does program qualify for PG Work Permit or students can qualify for Permanent Residence if they complete their degree and work on PG work permit.
  • Fees and financial aid: Studying Canada can be expensive. Does the college offer grants or scholarships to help our students to afford their studies?
  • Accommodations for special needs — Is the college able to accommodate students with physical or learning disabilities?
